摘要: We reviewed the characteristics of stroke epidemiology in Japan mainly based on 30-year experience Hisayama study which is a prospective and autopsy-based population survey conducted since 1961 Japanese subrural area. The most frequent type cerebral was infarction, sequentially followed by intracerebral hemorrhage subarachnoid for men, while more than women. Among subtypes lacunar infarction major residents. Hypertension powerful risk factor both diabetes mellitus contributed to occurrence through conferring an excess hypertension ictus. could play important role as accerelating brain small arteriolar lesions. incidence decreased recent residents, this be related prevalence hypertension. However, will change into that atherosclerosis future, metabolic disorders such hypercholesterolemia, obesity or glucose intolerance has much increased among population.
