摘要: Abstract An acoustic lens is an attractive device due to its superior ability image and focus beams. Nevertheless, the limitation of such a solid-phase apparent in that once made, focal length remains fixed. On contrary, liquid can not only flexibly tune position focus, but also avoid greater impedance. This paper presented convex with tunable focus. The distance derived from formula optical group. interface curvature dependent as function infused volume were studied theoretically experimentally. Furthermore, refraction index be accurately selected needed by adjusting concentrations liquid. results modification length. magnification this combination single element 6.8 MHz transducer was evaluated imaging steel probes which embedded at different without performing mechanical axial scanning. error caused difference sound speed between host medium corrected.
