PATIENTS WITH HEAD INJURY WHO TALK AND DIE

摘要: Of 66 patients with head injuries who had talked at some time after injury, 25% did not have intracranial haematoma necropsy. Most of these raised pressure (I.C.P.), and the commonest finding was local swelling related to contusions. Almost half non-haematoma cases ischaemic or hypoxic brain damage, usually without contusions; 3 were children status epilepticus. Fatality I.C.P. most often due meningitis. In deteriorating mortality morbidity might be reduced by more diagnosis treatment, particularly
