摘要: Density profile modification and generation of density cavitons in laser-produced plasmas due to ponderomotive force is discussed. Earlier important theoretical work this field reviewed. Experimental evidences self consistent electric are given a chronological sequence. Recent experimental results demonstrating caviton formation long pulsed laser from solid targets, presented.
