摘要: Introduction This chapter is concerned with the acquisition of data and generation time series. The procedures discussed later in book are based on assumption that series used for analysis have been obtained due regard issues addressed here. It also assumed care has taken to ensure measurements or observations made sufficiently reproducible (‘precise’) accurate. Accuracy can be estimated via material a known composition (i.e. ‘standard’). ‘Analytical precision’ should checked by multiple analyses single samples. ‘Observational re-sampling re-analysing section interest (e.g. Fig. 2.1). Currently four types periodic quasi-periodic environmental cycles produce regular stratigraphic cyclicity studied detail: orbital variations generating tides, solar variability affecting weather climate, (daily annual cycles) climate (Milankovitch cycles), climatic arising from internal processes system. Note typically defined as mean observed during 30-year intervals (Barry Chorley, 1998). Each these cycle some characteristics detail Chapter 6. Missing this list related relatively poorly understood phenomena might responsible records. Principal among fault activity (Cisne, 1986; Scholz, 1998; Morley et al. , 2000).
