摘要: The recent proliferation of mobile phones enables the collection high-quality data on an almost real-time basis. This chapter presents innovative approach to for crisis monitoring, combining baseline from face-to-face household surveys with subsequent phone-based interviews, based ongoing Listening-to-Africa project and collected in Sierra Leone Liberia during 2014 Ebola crisis. It finds that phone interviews are valuable tools monitoring suggests proactive creation sampling frames respondent characteristics re-contact information would allow a rapid response unforeseen crises.
