摘要: The demixing process of aqueous poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAM) solutions can occur either via a nucleation and growth or spinodal decomposition. ensuing self-assembly, leading to heterogeneous morphologies within the PNIPAM solution, is codetermined by kinetic processes caused molecular transport. By subjecting cyclic changes in temperature repeated crossing transition, we are able assess importance kinetics as well overheating supercooling phase transition metastable range delimited binodal lines. First indications about location these stability limits for low- high-temperature phases, separated 1.6 K, could be gained detailed studies refractive index. These investigations made possible due novel technique temperature-modulated optical refractometry.
