摘要: A fullerene based Donor–Bridge–Acceptor (DBA) compound, incorporating a π-extended tetrathiafulvalene electron donor, is investigated with respect to its photophysics in solution versus solid state. Solid films of neat DBA are compared blend where the compound diluted inert, low dielectric, polymer poly(styrene). It found that moderate intermolecular electronic coupling and donor–acceptor separation (22 A) this case leads generation more dissociated, charges than mixture donor acceptor reference compounds. However, increased interactions state lead excited suffering from concentration self-quenching. This severely affect charge yield films. The impact competing intra upon film analysed terms kinetic model which includes both effects self-quenching composition dielectric stabilisation separated states. We conclude critical determining films, discuss strategies our observations enhance photogeneration properties organic photovoltaic devices
