摘要: Textbooks are one of the primary teaching tools frequently used in schools and most teachers use them their classrooms (Sanchez Valcarcel, 1999). Since there a lot abstract concepts science education, images textbooks play vital role learning process (Kenan et al., 2011). Concretization may ease students' understanding. For this reason, aim study was to examine about particulate nature matter (PNM) Turkish middle school textbooks. In other words, visuals were examined with respect representational levels, relatedness text, existence properties captions. The rubric developed by Gkitzia al. (2011) evaluate from selected units. A total 825 identified related addition, it found that common representation type PNM macroscopic representations (36%). text also studied. It concluded just 4 out 10 completely linked text. Lastly, more than half had no caption.
