摘要: Abstract Middle Cambrian (Floran-Undillan) allochthonous limestone clasts from the Murrawong Creek Formation, southern New England Fold Belt, northeastern N.S.W., Australia, yield a well preserved silicified molluscan fauna consisting of helcionelloids Latouchella accordionata Runnegar & Jell ,, aliciae nov. sp., Yochelcionella daleki Anabarella simesi MacKinnon and paragastropod Pelagiella sp. cf. P. deltoides .. On basis single bellerophontiform-like muscle scar fortuitously in one specimen, Protowenella is tentatively re-interpreted as an archaeogastropod, though tergomyan affinity cannot be ruled out. The displays strong regional affinities with “first discovery limestone” member Coonigan western sequences Georgina Basin, northern northwest Nelson Zealand.
