摘要: This review aims to provide an overview of the most recent and significant functional neuroimaging studies which have clarified complex mechanisms underlying migraine pathophysiology. The data allow us overcome concept a generator suggesting that networks abnormalities may lead changes in different brain area activities consequent reduced thresholds susceptibility, likely associated with higher severity burden. Although magnetic resonance imaging allowed recognition several mechanisms, its pathophysiology is not completely understood still matter research. Nevertheless, years, implement our knowledge pivotal role both brainstem hippocampus first phase attack, involvement limbic pathway constitution migrainous pain network, disrupted connectivity cognitive networks, as well abnormal function visual network patients aura are main milestones achieved through advances. We believe further based on combined structural techniques investigation phases cycle represent efficient methodological approach for comprehensively looking into secrets.
