摘要: Wireless home automation networks are gaining importance for smart homes. In this ambit, ZigBee play an important role. The specification defines a default set of protocol stack parameters and mechanisms that is further refined by the Home Automation application profile. holistic approach, we analyze how network performance affected with tuning across multiple layers investigate possible gains implementing testing alternative settings. evaluations carried out in testbed 57 TelosB motes. results show considerable improvements can be achieved using configurations. From these results, derive two improved configurations wireless validated various scenarios. our experiments, yield relative packet delivery ratio increase up to 33.6%, delay decrease 66.6% improvement energy efficiency battery powered devices 48.7%, obtainable without incurring any overhead network.
