Posttraumatic stress symptoms seen in children within the 3‐month period after the Van earthquake in Turkey

摘要: The research was conducted to determine the posttraumatic stress symptoms seen in children within 3 month period after Van earthquake Turkey. between December 2011 and January 2012 with survivor 7-12 age group living tent city built central area of Van. data were collected by researcher using Childhood Post-Traumatic Stress Reaction Index (CPTS-RI) a questionnaire prepared researchers that contained questions on some information about sociodemographic characteristics.It found out 8.6% (26) had mild disorder (PTSD), 19.7% (60) moderate PTSD, 47.7% (145) severe PTSD 24.0% (73) very PTSD. Furthermore, significant difference (P < 0.001) mean CPTS-RI scores economic losses experienced families children. In study, identified majority who earthquake.
