摘要: Constitutive heterochromatin is traditionally viewed as the static form of that silences pericentromeric and telomeric repeats in a cell cycle- differentiation-independent manner. Here, we show that, mouse olfactory epithelium, receptor (OR) genes are marked highly dynamic fashion with molecular hallmarks constitutive heterochromatin, H3K9me3 H4K20me3. The type developmentally dependent deposition these marks along OR clusters are, most likely, reversed during process choice to allow for monogenic monoallelic expression. In contrast current view choice, our data suggest silencing takes place before expression, indicating it not product an OR-elicited feedback signal. Our findings chromatin-mediated lays foundation upon which singular stochastic selection gene expression can be applied.
