摘要: Vocational dancers are anecdotally regarded as a group ‘at risk’ of compromised health. Yet little is known the antecedents variability in positive and negative indicators dancers’ welfare. Grounded basic needs theory (Deci Ryan, 2000), mini-theory self-determination framework & 1985, 2000) this thesis examined social-psychological predictors indices well- ill-being among vocational dancers. In study one, inter-relationships between perceptions social environment, psychological need satisfaction (BPNS) reported affective states exhaustion were explored via structural equation modeling. two, changes autonomy support BPNS modeled burnout during academic year. Multilevel modeling techniques employed to examine a) daily learning performance contexts (study three); b) whether was relevant cognitive appraisals hormonal emotional responses ‘real life’ settings four).
