摘要: PURPOSE To investigate the relationship between choriocapillaris (CC) hypoperfusion and photoreceptor alterations in eyes with nonproliferative diabetic retinopathy (NPDR). METHODS In this prospective, observational, case-control study, 30 (30 patients) NPDR healthy from controls were enrolled at University G. d'Annunzio, Chieti-Pescara, Italy. This study cohort underwent an ophthalmologic examination, including optical coherence tomography angiography. The main outcome measures as follows: 1) "normalized" reflectivity of en face image segmented ellipsoid zone level, which was calculated to quantify damage, 2) CC perfusion density. Secondary superficial retinal capillary plexus (SCP), intermediate (ICP), deep (DCP) density (based on area vessels); SCP, ICP, DCP vessel length a map vessels 1-pixel width); 3) diameter. RESULTS Mean ± SD age 58.9 11.1 years (range 38-79 years) group 61.7 11.3 39-87 control (P > 0.05 for all comparisons). Compared controls, displayed lower (0.96 0.25 0.73 0.19 group, P < 0.0001). Moreover, characterized by impaired both choroidal vasculature. multiple regression analysis, significant direct association patients = 0.025 0.476, respectively). CONCLUSION Eyes are affected macular latter investigated reflectivity. choroidopathy seems be strongly associated damage.
