摘要: Abstract Recently, the high analytical power provided by new HRMS instruments (working in MS or MS/MS mode, stand alone hyphenated with separation techniques) is making more feasible characterization of plant secondary metabolites. In this regard, HRMS-based techniques are becoming technique choice, since they capable answering many questions regarding metabolites, usually found very complex matrices, including their structural elucidation and quantification a fast sensitive way. manuscript we will provide critical updated revision topic covering works published last 4 years (2015–2018), different configurations which may be used (stand hyphenated), data treatment, strategies for identification unknown current software structure elucidation, as well trends future outlooks hot area research.
