摘要: The brachial plexus represents a complex anatomical structure in the upper limb. This "network" of peripheral nerves permits rearrangement motor efferent fibers, coming from different spinal nerves, several terminal branches directed to limb muscles. Moreover, afferent information cutaneous regions are sorted through plexus. Severe injuries rare clinical condition general population and sport medicine, but with dramatic consequences on sensory functions In some sports, like martial arts, milder can occur, transient symptoms full recovery. Clinical evaluation cornerstone assessment athletes injuries. Electrodiagnostic studies imaging techniques, magnetic resonance high-frequency ultrasound, could be useful localize lesion define an appropriate treatment functional prognosis. Several conservative surgical techniques applied, multidisciplinary rehabilitative programs performed guide athlete toward recovery highest level, according type injury.
