摘要: We tested the hypothesis that different levels of energy intake would alter circadian rhythm core body temperature (Tc) in ovariectomized sheep. measured arterial blood every 5 min while ten sheep were offered a maintenance diet, 70% requirements, or 150% for 12 days, and later fasted 2 days. The rhythmicity Tc was analyzed its dominant period then least-squares cosine wave fitted to data generated mesor, amplitude, acrophase rhythm. When less than requirements we observed significant decrease mesor minimum, increase amplitude goodness fit, Fasting also resulted maximum Feeding excess did not affect rhythm, but result fit those consumed more when they on indicating decreased increased. Our indicate modulation temperature, characterized by inactive-phase hypothermia, occurs is reduced. response may be an adaptation imbalance large mammals.
