摘要: The graft copolymerization of styrene/methyl methacrylate (MMA) onto deproteinized natural rubber (DPNR) latex was carried out using ammonium peroxy disulfate (N2H8O8S2) as the initiator. presence grafted polystyrene (PS) and polymethyl (PMMA) on backbone confirmed by FTIR spectroscopy. effects monomer concentrations curing characteristics mechanical properties were studied. It found that cure time scorch increased with increasing concentration whereas torquemax–min value slightly decreased. also noted increase in resulted stiffer modulus reduced elongation at break.
