摘要: Abstract The period of protracted conflict in Sierra Leone and Liberia brought the politics alluvial diamond mining West Africa to forefront academic policy-oriented discussions. Using social contract theory, this paper moves away from discussions on how minerals have perpetuated region, interrogates governance Guinea impacts regime stability insecurity. More importantly, it attempts illustrate artisanal contributes stability. situates discussion within broad spectrum between state citizens an analysis these are at play areas.
