摘要: Abstract Accelerated electrochemical testing of AISI 304L, 316L, 316, 430, 409, Sandvik 1802, SX 3CR12, and a mild steel was performed in three cultures sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB). The tests were conducted order to ascertain whether SRB capable bringing about corrosion the stainless types alloys. In all cases, pitting resistance alloys found be lower SRB. This manifested itself as decrease Ecorr, an increase ipass, formation active peak, passive range. Sulfide-induced pits initiated at potentials than those associated with chloride pitting.
