摘要: A newborn female with an uncomplicated prenatal course was noted to have abnormalities on the hand and feet (Figure 1andFigure 2). The results of remainder physical examination were normal, family history without similar abnormalities. Denouement Discussion Congenital Macrodactyly MANIFESTATIONS macrodactyly is uncommon anomaly present at birth characterized by disproportionate enlargement one or more digits a foot.1,2The digit may continue increase in size as child grows it assume tremendous proportions. metacarpal metatarsal bones are generally not involved.1,3In blacks, congenital usually involves toes, whites, fingers predominantly affected.4 represent true pseudomacrodactyly. In macrodactyly, all thesoft tissues, including tendons, nerves, blood vessels, nails, skin, subcutaneous tissue, affected digit, enlarged.
