摘要: Abstract The main objective of this study is to investigate the 24 h kinetic effect acute administration malathion, an organophosphorus insecticide, on glucose homeostasis in adult rats. A single dose malathion (400 mg/kg, 1/5 LD 50 ) was administered orally rats, blood measured, liver and pancreas were removed determine level hepatic glycogen, activity pancreatic acetylcholinesterase butyrylcholinesterase, as well TBARs. Blood increased rats treated with a malathion. This observed first hours treatment, reached 2.2 fold peak after 2 h, then decreased 4 h, followed by decrease glycogen. storage glycogen starts from 6 12 h administration. cholinesterase activities noted. TBARs considerably pancreas. Results can be explain stimulation glycogenolysis gluconeogenesis liver, temporarily loss endocrine functions leading hyperglycemia.
