摘要: In this study the results of characterization bimodal silica-gel samples with nitrogen adsorption and Positron-Annihilation-Lifetime-Spectroscopy (PALS) are compared. The were synthesized by pseudomorphic transformation a mesoporous silica gel. A set eight was generated using different volumes 0.07 M cetyltrimethylammonium hydroxide (5–42 ml/g) to obtain pore systems controlled proportions 15 nm pores original 4 nm formed MCM-41 phase. aim proof if it is possible determine directly from PALS experiment. measurements clearly indicate structure in materials. Two individual can be detected good resolution. peak area signals calculated compared determined adsorption. show correlation between volume PALS. Some differences measured starting material an indication for formation closed porosity after processes transformation. enable complementary characterisation micro- mesopore range. Bimodal structured porous materials studied well separated. observed intensities (respectively areas) classes allows direct estimation via calibration quantification potential porosity.
