Underlying Differences Between Chinese Omnivores and Vegetarians in the Evaluations of Different Dietary Groups.

摘要: Drawing upon self-categorization theory, the present research investigated attitudes of omnivores and vegetarians toward five dietary groups, including omnivores, conscientious semi-vegetarians, vegetarians, vegans. When they had high (vs. low) meat rationalization, omnivore participants fewer negative more positive evaluations groups but vegetarian groups. Vegetarian most group, followed by semi-vegetarian vegan group; with rationalization those low rationalization) Such findings suggested that levels meat-eating predicted favorable among both participants.
