摘要: The application of poly (p-phenylene-2, 6-benzobisoxazole) (PBO) fiber as reinforcement in composite material was restricted by its photo-degradation, therefore, some measures should be considered to protect PBO against UV aging. In this study, A series multilayer coating for (POSS/TiO2)n prepared on surface via LbL assembly technique enhancement resistance. TiO2 absorbing used relieve UV-degradation PBO. Surface elemental composition, morphology, mechanical and interfacial properties, resistance uncoated coated fibers were investigated. These experimental results show uniform deposition after treatment, tensile strength decreased certain extent, shear increased a small range is obvious enhanced. After the same accelerated aging time under irradiation, retention intrinsic viscosity much better than that untreated fibers.
