摘要: Abstract Two approaches have been employed to prepare medium size macrocycles incorporating combinations of coordinated-1,3-diyne units, oxygen donors and group 14 elements. In the first approach, acid-catalysed reaction [{Co 2 (CO) 6 (μ-η -HOCH C )} ] ( 1a ) with either H 5 OH, 4 -1,4-(OH) or -1,2-(OH) was found form in good moderate yield nine-membered } { cyclo -μ-η :μ-η -CH CH OC eight-membered macrocycles, -2,3-C }] 3 -3,4-C ), respectively. contrast, treatment bis-lithiated derivative Cl SiR 1 R affords silicon-containing -OCH OSiR 5a = R = Me; 5b = Ph; 5c = Me, = Ph).
