摘要: Abstract Lactic acid recovery from dilute aqueous solutions by microfiltration using niosomes of Span 80 (sorbitan monooleate) modified SDS (sodium dodecyl sulfate) as extraction agents was studied. Experiments were conducted at a transmembrane pressure 0.3 bar 0.20 µm pore size TiO 2 flat-disk membrane. The effect the feed composition (lactic concentration, pH, dispersed phase volume, and content in niosomes) on rate degree equilibrium conditions, membrane behavior during subsequent concentration stage investigated. contained niosomes, to lactic molar ratio dispersion, pH main factors affecting degree. best conditions achieved with formulated (20 mol/m 3 ) (4 mol/m ), 0.010, lower than pKa acid: 33% constant permeate flux 26 L/m  h kept dispersion concentration. A two-step process increased up about 43%. Back-extraction made NaOH addition until pH > 12, where niosome breakup observed.
