摘要: Transcriptional bursting is a major source of noise in gene expression. Motivated by recent experiments, we study model including slow burst initiation and termination, fast RNA polymerase recruitment pause release. We show that the time-dependent distribution mRNA numbers accurately approximated telegraph with Michaelis-Menten like dependence effective transcription rate on abundance. also dosage compensation, common feature mammalian expression, an emergent property our stochastic model.
