摘要: Abstract We have previously shown that separation of the amnion from choriodecidua occurs as an integral part fetal membranes (FM) rupture process. also reported spontaneous FM is nearly universal with term vaginal delivery. The etiology this unknown. If biochemical degradation at amnion–choriodecidua interface a factor, decreased adhesive force between components prior to their complete would be expected. purpose project was develop and validate machinery procedures measure choriodecidua. Commercial tensile testing equipment adapted perform standard T-peel test, per American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM) guidelines. test strip dimensions, peel speed, data measurements versus displacement curves were optimized reproducibility. Test system validation performed using Shurtape CP 60 (slow release painter's masking tape) standard. Equipment on developed. decreasing widths showed reproducible, linear changes in range ( r 2  = 0.96). ranged 0.017 0.262 N/cm. Reproducibility optimal strips 4 × 6 cm speed 25.4 cm/min. greater adjacent placental disc than distal p
