摘要: Purpose To study optical aberrations in eyes having uneventful cataract surgery and in-the-bag implantation of an aspherical Tecnis Z9000 intraocular lens (IOL) (AMO) or a spherical CeeOn Edge 911 IOL (Pharmacia) compare the results with those group phakic age-matched eyes. Setting Ophthalmic Unit, Hospital University Verona, Italy. Materials Three groups, each 30 patients (30 eyes), were examined Topcon KR-9000PW topographer/aberrometer. Spherical aberration coma analyzed detail for 4.0 mm zone. Internal values obtained by subtracting corneal from ocular aberrations. Point spread function modulation transfer (MTF) considered quality. Results The mean internal Z 4 0 was −0.048 μm ± 0.017 (SD) group, +0.033 0.026 ( P = .149). vertical 3 −1 0.087 0.056 μm, 0.054 0.043 .005), 0.044 +1 showed similar pattern; however, total resulting groups. Strehl ratio 0.284 0.166 group, 0.145 0.077 Conclusions After implantation, yielded better quality than IOL. Induced somewhat higher group; overall not affected. Physiologic decentration after correct did negate advantages asphericity.
