摘要: The genetic polymorphism and gene flow rate among the Indian snow trout fish population S. richadsonii from three different locations viz., Chirapani stream of Champawat district, Kosi Gola river Nainital Uttarakhand State, India were assessed by employing twenty numbers Randomly Amplified Polymorphic DNA (RAPD) markers. overall percent polymorphisms these populations 14.76 with 6.56, 4.92 3.28 in Chirapani, population, respectively. had higher proportion polymorphic loci as compared to Gola. value distance (0.1565) was obtained between lower observed (0.1058) population. cluster analysis revealed that formation two clusters, one consisted other Gst estimates showed some extent homogeneity differentiation further suggested tolerance mutation, expected RAPD bands, arose both coding non-coding regions. findings seemed very low i.e. highly conserved its diversity their natural waterbodies indicative little migration (geographically isolated not possibilities man made interventions/introduction similar kind species). It is concluded richardsonii being naturally habitat species actual potential maintained (adaptation local climatic conditions, reproduction, production traits disease resistance trait etc) habitat.
