摘要: Senescence in perennials has not been extensively studied compared to that annual plants, and the effects of delaying senescence on plant biomass metabolic features herbaceous also poorly reported. We recently examined gibberellin A3 (GA3) aerial parts Paris polyphylla, which characterize changes associated with senescence, found antagonistic GA abscisic acid during this process. Rhizome yield quality (saponin content) polyphylla were both improved by GA3-induced retardation senescence. propose increases green leaf area prolongs duration photosynthesis, leading increased rhizome yield. The saponin accumulation GA3-treated plants may be explained longer growth phase ensuing environmental stress.
