摘要: Abstract To investigate the effects of polymer matrixes on competition between energy and electron transfer, a covalently linked pyrene-perylenediimide dyad ( PDI-PY ) has been prepared. Competition transfer from PY to PDI within is revealed by steady state absorption fluorescence spectra, as well time resolved spectra. Polar solvents accelerate while non-polar favor transfer. When embedded in matrix, becomes only photoinduced process PDI, whereas almost completely hindered. In polar still dominating process, but with remarkably decreased efficiency. The matrix much slower less efficient respect that solutions, faster more than matrixes. This result suggests are ideal environment for constructing light harvesting systems, which some case can reduce disturbance
