摘要: Context Portal annular pancreas is a rare congenital anomaly resulting from fusion of the pancreatic parenchyma around portal vein/superior mesenteric vein. It asymptomatic, but could have serious consequences during surgery, if unrecognized. We describe variant this encountered pancreaticoduodenectomy and propose new classification. Case report 51-year-old male who underwent for periampullary carcinoma. After division neck, sheath tissue was found posterior extending to left When we divided tissue, large duct encountered; communicated with main duct. On review CT images, seen be passing vein smaller accessory present anterior surgical implications. Conclusion This has not yet been reported classification anomaly.
