摘要: The placebo effect has evolved from being thought of as a nuisance in clinical and pharmacological research to biological phenomenon worthy scientific investigation its own right. It is now clear that the term too restrictive and, fact, many placebo-related effects have recently been investigated. A differs placebo-like former follows administration placebo, whereas latter no administered. However, both cases, psychosocial context around treatment plays key role. In recent years, analyzed with sophisticated tools uncovered specific mechanisms at biochemical cellular level. This revealed these psychosocial-induced changes patient's brain body turn may affect course disease response therapy.
