摘要: Dry sandy grasslands occur throughout Central Europe and Southern Germany, they host many rare endangered plant species. To date, insufficient data on seed ecological aspects of this vegetation type exist. Seed studies attempt to develop knowledge by identifying patterns underlying mechanisms. bring all results together, it can be pointed out that environmental factors strongly shape patterns. Species with special mechanisms like those creating persistent banks for small sized seeds, faster germination speed the development physiological dormancy may tolerate habitat conditions. Filtering effect aluminum toxicity species from calcareous soil indicates importance regeneration niches in community assembly. Developing traits as easy measurable would help elucidate assembly rules. Different conditions responses these factors, reserves limitations should considered restoration ecology conservation issues. planning reintroduction design making.
