摘要: Abstract In this work, silver nanoparticles supported on polydopamine-kaolin composite (PDA-kaolin-Ag) was fabricated by an in-situ reduction method with PDA as both reductant and stabilizer. The morphology, composition, structure of PDA-kaolin-Ag were characterized transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). catalytic tests confirmed the importance modification high activities as-prepared towards a model dye Rhodamine B. processes followed pseudo-first order kinetics. Meanwhile, catalyst showed excellent stability recyclability for decoloration. Furthermore, also exhibited good performance methylene blue, methyl orange, Congo red. These results suggest that composites can be used efficient cost-effective decoloration various organic dyes.
