摘要: Soybean (Glycine max [L.] Merr.) suspension cultures grown under photoautotrophic and photomixotrophic (1% sucrose) culture conditions were used in 14CO2 pulse-chase experiments to follow cell-wall polysaccharide starch biosynthesis turnover. Following a 30-min pulse with 14CO2, about one-fourth of the 14C cells was incorporated into cell wall; this increased 80% during 96-h chase unlabeled CO2. Cells early cycle (3 d) more per sample also exhibited greater turnover pectin hemicellulose fractions as shown by loss than did 10- 16-d cells. When occurred dark, less wall because cessation growth higher respiratory loss. The dark effect much pronounced Even though levels lower leaves, high incorporation found pulse, especially older label largely lost chase, indicating that is involved short-term storage photosynthate. Thus, these easily labeled manipulated photosynthetic demonstrated extensive normal process.
