摘要: Abstract The progress in monolithic Si3N4 and SiC as well Si3N4/SiC-composites for structural applications is reviewed. conventional processing including the powder synthesis, densification microstructural design discussed. mechanical properties of resulting silicon based non-oxide ceramics their industrial components are summarized. As an alternative route to fabricate Si3N4/SiC composites hybrid utilizing thermal conversion or organosilicon precursors amorphous polycrystalline multicomponent materials described. processed exhibit ultra-high temperature stability with respect crystallization, oxidation decomposition.
