摘要: The objective was to determine pregnancy rate and stage of embryonic loss in response grazing endophyte-free (E-; n = 20) or infected (E+; 30) tall fescue postpartum beef cows with calves. Three weeks before estrus synchronization, cow-calf pairs were introduced pastures (April 1999). Cows synchronized bred by AI after detected for a period 6 d then natural service 62 d. Bulls rotated weekly minimize effects toxicosis on male fertility. Fetal development monitored between 30 60 at weaning using transrectal ultrasound. Respiration (52.0 ± 1.4 vs 46.6 breaths/min; P 0.10) occurred environmental temperatures rose above 37.8°C three weeks. Total losses that (between 70 126 gestation) 5.5 (E-) 17.6 (E+) 8.0% (P > 0.10). Pregnancy not different E- E+ under these management conditions.
