摘要: A technique combining the electric field-induced alignment and transient light scattering was applied to characterize Fe2O3 chain-aggregate aerosols. Particles were exposed a pulsed square field with strengths up 2.S kV/cm. Rotational diffusion constants of particles obtained from decay rate relative change in intensity due orientation after removal field. Using model for rodlike aerosols, average particle length electrooptic data compared electron microscope analysis aggregates sampled an aerosol centrifuge.
