摘要: Abstract The parent TiO 2 , platinum and copper doped photocatalysts with 0.5–2 wt. % of Pt, Cu 1 wt. Pt combined were prepared by the sol-gel method. All tested for CO photocatalytic reduction in a stirred batch reactor. main reaction product was methane, however, hydrogen carbon monoxide also detected. textural, (micro)structural, optical electronic properties characterized detail low-temperature nitrogen physisorption, X-ray powder diffraction, EDX, HRTEM, fluorescence, photon spectroscopy, scanning electron microscope, transmission microscope diffuse reflectance UV–vis spectroscopy. photoelectrochemical characteristics determined using photoelectric spectrometry. highest yields CH 4 H achieved presence 2 wt. Cu/TiO 0.5 wt. pure, amorphous . Based on conducted experiments it suggested that both amount chemisorbed oxygen or/and hydroxyl species surface specific area photocatalyst highly influence its activity.
