摘要: – The purpose of this article is to examine growth expectations and factors influencing side activities in rural areas., Data were collected the areas 36 Dutch municipalities by means a detailed survey. This resulted 260 response cases. analysis consists descriptive account respondents' intentions expand activity logistic regression explaining these activities., main conclusion that although not expected large number activities, there group owners who clearly aspire scale their activities. Their personal aspirations for economic well‐being are most common motivations. These characteristics also have bearing on future consequently impact development., Since examines actual growth, findings cannot be interpreted directly terms Scholars policy makers paid little attention specifically potential. enhances our understanding those carry out shows potential such diversifying revitalizing areas.
