摘要: We tested the hypotheses that oesophageal bolus transit and motor function vary regionally, with viscosity body position. In healthy volunteers, we measured head advance time, presence time in proximal distal oesophagus using water viscous materials. compared concurrent manometric responses. Bolus were longer during swallows upright supine positions. The total across entire body, shorter for than swallows. amplitudes of peristaltic pressure waves lower swallows, varied as a region. These studies demonstrated true functional differences between multichannel intraluminal impedance is determinant function.
