摘要: The proposal of this paper is a modular three-phase ac–dc light-emitting diode (LED) driver for high-power luminaires based on LEDs that uses each phase to control an independent LED load removing in the process both electrolytic capacitor and second stage increase lifetime efficiency. driving done by means dc–dc converter operating as loss-free resistor responsible controlling current across it. Furthermore, needs achieve power factor correction (PFC) comply with restrictive IEC 61000-3-2 class C requirements, hence, achieving unity low total harmonic distortion. Taking advantage light properties, output will be sum phases. Therefore, theoretical study carried out observe feasibility while guaranteeing flicker-free behavior luminaire, even if string pulsating at twice mains frequency. This particular performance under high voltage ripples requires reevaluating well-known limits between conduction modes PFC converters. In addition, analysis also discusses proposes methods driver, which thanks its modularity can easily scale drive luminaires. order validate analysis, prototype has been built comprised three boost converters disposing their capacitors. designed operates full range European line voltage, varies 380 420 V, supplies 42.000 lm maximum 300 W electrical efficiency 97.5%.
