摘要: Abstract Previous work with tobacco and bacteria which cause a hypersensitive response (HR) indicated that the K + /H (increase in extracellular pH ) active oxygen production are associated early events leading to HR. This study demonstrates these responses also occur soybean upon recognition of pathogen other host species as well incompatible races Pseudomonas syringae pv. glycinea , soybean. Pathogens stimulated leaf disc cell suspension assays all cultivars tested. These pathogens observed using luminol-dependent chemiluminescence. Races P. interactions lead death monitored by Evans Blue. However, race/cultivar compatibility under or assay conditions differed some cases from intact leaves. In cases, preceded several hours. extends our previous findings studies induce an HR not only pathogen/non-host hut interactions.
