摘要: Abstract Thermoplastic elastomer nanocomposites based on acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) and poly(ethylene-co-vinyl acetate) (EVA) with different weight ratios (20, 40 60 wt% of NBR) 5 wt% organocaly (OC) were prepared in an internal mixer. The results obtained from X-ray diffraction transmission electron microscopy (TEM) micrographs showed that due to the OC–EVA interaction, nearly all clay platelets exfoliated. Scanning microscope (SEM) was used investigate particle size phase morphology. SEM images for unfilled blends revealed a two-phase structure which NBR domains dispersed into EVA phase. However, blend containing 60 wt.% NBR, co-continuous morphology exhibited. addition OC decreased domain significantly remained as even having highest amount studied. Young's modulus yield stress increased, but elongation at break comparison materials. Thermal studies indicated although degree crystallinity crystallization temperature slightly, it no effect melting samples. It also found behaved shear thinning fluids over entire range angular frequency values storage relaxation nanocomposite 20 wt% higher than alone.
