摘要: Nanocomposites, a high performance material exhibit unusual property combinations and unique design possibilities. With an estimated annual growth rate of about 25% fastest demand to be in engineering plastics elastomers, their potential is so striking that they are useful several areas ranging from packaging biomedical applications. In this unified overview the three types matrix nanocomposites presented underlining need for these materials, processing methods some recent results on structure, properties applications, perspectives including such materials future space mission other interesting applications together with market safety aspects. Possible uses natural as clay based minerals, chrysotile lignocellulosic fibers highlighted. Being environmentally friendly, offer new technology business opportunities sectors aerospace, automotive, electronics biotechnology industries.
